An integrated supply chain – human resource management approach for improved supply chain performance

Purpose Human resource management (HRM) is struggling to cope with the increasingly volatile demand for skilled resources in logistics and supply chain sector. Thus, this study discovers possible integration of HRM (SCM) practices improved performance. The purpose explore effect intra HRM–SCM joint decisions on performance chain. Design/methodology/approach An model developed following an empirical study. Survey data collected from 109 managers Indian firms are used test hypotheses. Structural equation modeling analyze validate model. Findings results suggest that significantly influenced by HRM–SCM, compared practices, especially under environments.
